General – Affiliate Program
Q: What type of affiliate programs are available?
A: Wallhogs offers two types of Affiliate Programs:
- Marketing Affiliate – This program is designed for any user that wishes to place banner or text link ad on their website to direct users to Wallhogs. This program is also intended for fundraising and other programs.
- Content Affiliate – This program is designed for any artist or photographer that wishes to submit content for inclusion in the Wallhogs catalog.
Q: What is the cost to enroll in the Wallhogs Affiliate Programs?
A: Absolutely FREE!
Q: Who is eligible to enroll in the programs?
A: Anyone that has a website to advertise on or wishes to provide content for our catalog.
Q: What is my affiliate ID?
A: You may view your affiliate ID at any time by logging into your account and viewing your affiliate information under the Affiliate Management option.

Q: What file formats do you accept?
A: Wallhogs accepts any of the following file formats:
- ·jpg
- ·eps
- ·ai
- ·tiff
- ·svg
- ·psd
Q: What are your minimum resolution requirements for an image?
A: Digital camera images require a minimum resolution of 2048×1536. This resolution is available on any camera with a megapixel rating of 3 or more. Simply set your image capture settings to the highest quality. Scanned images require a minimum resolution of 300 dpi at 8"x10".
Q: Who processes the images for inclusion in Wallhogs catalog?
A: Wallhogs Graphics Specialists perform this function.
Q: Once I submit my images, how long until they are processed?
A: It may take up to 4 weeks to process images for placement into the Wallhogs catalog. This time will vary depending upon our workload and the number of affiliate partners that submitted work prior to you.
Q: How do I submit my images?
A: All images must be included in a folder that includes your name and the email
address you created your Wallhogs account with (i.e. KevinSmith_ksmith@yahoo.com). The email address must also match your PayPal address. This folder must then be uploaded to the Wallhogs FTP server via FTP software. Once your folder is uploaded to the FTP site our Graphics Department is automatically notified and they will download the folder to our graphics servers. The Wallhogs FTP server address is Wallhogs FTP Server. Username is affiliate and the password is wallhogs2011.
Q: How is pricing determined for my images and can I set my own pricing?
A: Wallhogs sets all pricing within our guidelines. In certain instances, per special requests, we will honor pricing a Content Affiliate requests. However, we reserve the right, after a 90 day trail, to reduce pricing on any image that has accrued zero sales. Following are Wallhogs pricing guidelines:

- $54.99 – 48" longest side by up to 48” on second dimension
- $64.99 – 60" longest side by up to 48” on second dimension
- $69.99 – 72" longest side by up to 48” on second dimension
- $89.99 – 84" longest side by up to 48” on second dimension
- $39.99 – 24" longest side by up to 24” on second dimension
- $54.99 – 36" longest side by up to 36” on second dimension
- $74.99 – 48" longest side by up to 48” on second dimension
- $89.99 – 60" longest side by up to 48” on second dimension
- $99.99 – 72" longest side by up to 48” on second dimension
- $119.99 – 84" longest side by up to 48” on second dimension

Q: Can I have my images removed from the catalog?
A: Yes. You may request to have your images removed at any time. Once the request is made all images will be removed with 48 hours. Wallhogs also reserves the right to remove any images or galleries we feel are not performing well.
Q: Do I still retain the copyright to my images?
A: Yes. Wallhogs only agrees to sell the images to end users and not to any other broker or wholesaler/retailer.
Q: How are the images named when placed in my gallery?
A: Wallhogs provides you with a naming template in both Microsoft Excel or Word that you may submit with your images. If you do not submit this template the Wallhogs graphics specialist that processes your images will include a generic name and tags fro each image. If you have the image files named prior to upload these names will be used instead of the generic one.
Commissions/Royalties
Q: What are the commission/royalty incentives and how are they determined?
A: All commissions/royalties are accrued on a 20% base, however in instances where a Marketing Affiliate may send a user to Wallhogs and that customer in turn purchases an image from a Content Affiliate the commission/royalty is split 10/10. If the user purchases a custom Wallhog or a Wallhogs catalog image the Marketing Affiliate will receive the full 20%. A Content Affiliate will receive the full 20% from any user that is directed to the Wallhogs website from any search engine or by direct url entry.
NOTE: If a user has signed up as a Content and Marketing Affiliate the maximum commission/royalty is still 20%.

Q: How often are commissions/royalties paid?
A: Wallogs pays commission/royalties within 30 days after every month or by end of
next calendar month (i.e. December payments are made by January 31st). These monies are only paid if the affiliate has accrued a minimum of $25 and all payments are made via PayPal – NO EXCEPTIONS.
If an affiliate has not accrued a minimum $25 in commissions/royalties for a quarter, monies are held until such time the minimum $25 has accrued.

A: All payments are made via PayPal – NO EXCEPTIONS.
Q: How can I track sales of my images to determine commissions/royalties due to me?
A: Simply logon to your account and select the Affiliate Management option.

Q: What marketing tools does Wallhogs provide?
A: Wallhogs offers two different types of marketing tools. Banner ads are available in several different sizes and text ads are offered as well. Visit the Affiliate/Marketing section and select the Marketing Tools option.
Q: Can I use my own banners or text link ads?
A: Yes, however you are responsible for the creation of these ads.
Q: What information must be contained in the link for tracking?
A: To display and link ads from your website, simply place the ad on your site and direct the link to any page at Wallhogs.com. To determine link re-direction follow these steps:

FTP Tools
Q: What is the Wallhogs FTP server address, username and password?
A: The server address is is Wallhogs FTP Server. Username is affiliate and the password is wallhogs2011.
Q: How do I upload my files to the Wallhogs FTP site?
A: If you do not already have FTP software you will need to acquire it. As listed on the FTP Tools page we suggest two FREE shareware programs – Coffeecupftp Free (for use with any system) or Fire FTP (for user of the Firefox browser).
Once the software is installed you will need to enter the server information (located above) into the software. Once this is completed you may connect to our server and freely move your files.
